In Japanese, a “two shot” is a picture containing two people. Presumably friends. So, here’s a “two-shot” of two of my favorite members from the AKB48.

With the influx of newer members, and the graduating of older members, it’s a little nostalgic to see members of the earlier generation.

And, damn, I love seeing Yuko with glasses!  Photos posted below for your perusal.  From the attached articles comments, as usual, there are a smattering of opinions.

Wow, so nostalgic… these two were part of a great era.  Today’s members can’t compete with them…

A few comments noted the absence of other first gen members; as well as the this little gem:

In some ways, I can agree… I certainly didn’t expect to see Masuda Yuka!
