Here is Kitahara Rie’s speech for the 11th position from the 2015 AKB48 41st Single 7th Senbatsu Sousenkyo General Election.

今度からNGT48に移籍することになりました、北原里英です。2年ぶりに選抜に戻ってきましたー！！
I’m Kitahara Rie, and I’m moving over to NGT48. It’s been two years since I’ve been in a senbatsu!

本当に2年ぶりなのですごいトロフィーが重いです。でもそれくらい皆さんが力強く私の背中を押してくださったから、この重みを知ることができました。
Since it’s been two years, this trophy feels really heavy. But, this feeling is because you pushed me all from behind, and I’m able to know about this heaviness now.

今年はファンの皆さんと自己最高位である12位を目指していました。私は総選挙で13位を3回ほど獲ったことがあるんですけど、それ以上上には行ったことがありませんでした。
This year, I told my fans that I was aiming for 12th place. I’ve been 13th place about three times now, and I’ve never been able to go higher.

ですが、今年はファンの皆さんが背中を押してくれたおかげで、胸を張って新潟に行くことができそうです。
But now, because you’ve all given me a push from behind, I feel like I can go to Niigata with my head held high.

次から私は新潟の女になるわけですが、今まで応援してきてくれたファンの皆さんにはちょっと距離はあるかもしれませんが、ついてきてほしいなと思いますし、新潟県の皆さんにはぜひとも待っていてほしいなと思います。
I’m becoming a Niigata girl, and it might put some distance between the fans who supported until now. I hope you’ll keep following me, and I would like those in Niigata Prefecture to please wait for me.

私はもう8年目で正直最近は選抜に入ることもほぼなくなっていましたが、まだまだやれそうです！！
This is my 8th year and honestly, lately I haven’t been able to get into the senbatsu, but it looks like I still can!!

想像よりも上の順位だったので正直戸惑っているんですけど、この順位に恥じないような活動をこれから絶対にしていきたいと思いますので、みなさんよろしくお願いします。
I’m a little perplexed that I got a higher rank than expected, but I will definitely take on this position without embarrassment. Everyone, please send me your kindness.

最後になりますが、私のこのスピーチがCMとかぶっていないことを心から祈ります。本当にありがとうございました！
Lastly, I really hope, from the bottom of my heart, that my speech isn’t cut off by a commercial. Thank you very much!!

今年はNGT48私を含めまだ4人しかいないんですが、左右のセットにNGT48の旗を掲げてくれたことが嬉しくて、今回掲げてもらった旗に恥じない順位をいただいたので、NGT48が他のグループに追いつけ追い越せ精神で頑張っていけるように、先頭を走っていけるようにがんばっていきたいと思います。
This year, including myself, there are only 4 members of NGT48. Even so, on the set here, there’s a NGT48 flag on both sides, so I’m happy about that. They put up the flags, and I gained a decent position. With NG48 trying their best to catch up to the other groups, I want to try my best to reach the top.
