Miyazawa Sae, AKB Sousenkyo Election

Miyazawa Sae’s 2015 7th Senbatsu speech (English subtitles)

Here is Miyazawa Sae’s speech for the 8th position from the 2015 AKB48 41st Single 7th Senbatsu Sousenkyo General Election.

Until today! To those who supported me, let me tell you honestly, and to those who voted for me, truly, thank you very much!

Umm… this year, at the 7th election, I announced my desire, for the first time, to achieve my highest rank. And that wish has come true!

Until now, I’ve always felt the senbatsu election was really important, and I’ve felt the love from many people. But this year’s election felt a little more special, and felt a lot of love from fans, friends, acquaintances, and my family…. they all supported me.

This summer will mark the three year anniversary of me deciding to go to Shanghai’s SNH48.

One reason I decided that, was because in these elections, there was a wall I could never overcome. It’s take a long time, but I feel, right now, that I’ve finally broken that wall, and I’m very happy about that.

A few years ago, I said, boastfully, on this stage, something like, “As for our performances, we still haven’t lost to our junior members.” Today, listening to these speeches and being with the recent 48 group fans, I really felt the power of the junior members. So, I really think that I can’t say that same thing again.

Next, my being able to be here, and being to stand on the stage in Shanghai, is because SKE48 was there for me.

To SKE48, and to the fans who support SKE48, and to all its members, I’m very thankful. Thank you very much.
