えー、私は… みんなから、たくさんの人から好かれるタイプじゃないけど、世間の人からも態度が悪いとか、悪く思われがちなことも多いけど、でもこうやってたくさんの票をいただけて私のことを応援しようと、したいと思ってくれてる人がたくさんいることを今感じられて、ありがたいなと。
Umm….. I…. I’m not the type of person who is liked by a lot of people. People have said my attitude is not good, and a lot of times I’ve been thought of as bad. But, right now, after receiving so many votes, I felt there were a lot of people who wanted to support me. I’m thankful.

こんなに握手会もできてなくてアイドルに向いていない私を、ここまで、この順位まで上げてくれている私のファンの皆さんに感謝したいです。
I don’t do handshaking events well, and I’m not good as an idol, but to all those who, until now, have supported me to this position, I want to express my thanks.

だから、私のことを応援してくれてるファンの皆さんにたくさん恩返しをしていきたいと思っているし、このままじゃダメなんだと思っていて、だから先輩の力を借りつつも、次期総監督である横山由依とともに、後輩を引き連れてAKBの第2章を作りたいという目標を自分の中に決めていました。
So, I want to pay back all the fans who have supported. I know I can’t continue on like this so, relying on my senior members, and the next general manager, I, myself, have decided to make a bring the junior members along to AKB’s 2nd Chapter.

去年より順位は下がってしまったからこんなこと言うのはどうかと思うんですけど、AKB48のファンの皆さん、どうか私たち世代に力を貸してください！
I’ve dropped rank from last year, so I’m not sure if I should say that, but to all the AKB48 fans, please lend us your strength!

もっと私たちが前に進めるように、これからどうか、よろしくお願いします！
