AKB48チームA、48次期総監督の横山由依です。…あの、速報で、20位だった時に、いっつも選抜にも入れてもらってて次期総監督にも指名してもらったのに、本当に情けないなって、思って。
I’m Yokoyama Yui, of AKB48 Team A, and the next 48 General Manager. Umm… in the prelims, I was 20th even though I’ve always been in the senbatsu. As the next general manager, I felt really pathetic.

どうしようって思ってた時に、「ゆいはん、私が入れるから大丈夫だよ」って川栄李奈ちゃんが連絡をくれて、
When I thought about what to do, Kawaei told me, “Yui-han, I’ll vote for you, it’s okay!”.

その後「まだ速報だから大丈夫だよ」って入山杏奈ちゃんが連絡をくれて、
After that, Iriyama Anna told me, “It’s okay, it’s still the preliminaries”.

私は本当にこうやって支えてくれる仲間がいるんだなって…。
I felt that there were so many friend supporting me…

うぅ～どうしよう…。

そして、握手会でファンの人が「まだ僕入れてないから大丈夫だよ」って言ってくれたり、総選挙がこんなに人に支えてるんだなって感じられるイベントだなってすごく思って。

本当は…次期総監督って、不安で…。でも、今日の総選挙だったり、うぅ～わかんないな、なんか、どうしよう…。
Really, as next general manager, so much anxiety… but, today’s election.. ewaaaaa, what should i do…

あぁ…なんか…なんだろうな。本当に、私一人じゃ、何もできないけど、こうやって横を見たら大好きなメンバーがいっぱいいて、こうやって先輩たちが今まで見せてくれてた景色…。
Uh, somehow, well…. really, by myself I can’t do anything, when I’m like this and see the members at my side that I love, and the guidance that my senior members have shown me….

仲間からも会場からも『由依頑張れ』って、これが君の人柄だし君の人徳だと思います。じゃあちょっと整理して、6万票入れてくれた人にお礼を言おう。その後で総監督といたしまして今後チームはこういう風にしていく、そんなことを語っていただける？わかった？よろしい？俺の言ってることわかってる？

これから、今までは先輩たちが見せてくれてた景色を、これからは自分たちの世代が、見に行けるように、あとは後輩たちに素晴らしい景色を見せてあげて、AKB48がこの先5年、10年、15年…100年くらい続く、大きなグループになるといいなと思っているので、
