応援してくださった皆さん、投票してくださった皆さん、本当に、ありがとうございまーす！
To all those who supported me and those who voted for me, thank you very much!

今までで一番良い順位いただきましたー！ありがとうございます。
This is the highest I’ve ever ranked! Thank you very much!

えー、そうですね…今年の総選挙は、速報で2位にしていただけて、本音を言うと今までの総選挙で今日を迎えるのが今までで一番怖かったんですけども、でもどこかわくわくしてる自分もいて、でもこうしていろいろな感情を抱えながら今日を迎えて、地元九州のステージでこうして笑顔で立てたのは、本当に応援してくださった皆さんのおかげだと思っています。
Huh, let’s see… if I were to be really honest, the path leading to this day, I’ve never been more afraid. But, a part of me was also very excited. But with all these feelings in mind, leading up to today, I’ve been able to stand on this stage in my hometown of Kyushu. Truly, I think it is all thanks to all of you supported me.

えーそうですね…、はぁ…。私は今年初めて「総選挙で1位を取ります」と宣言しました。
Hmm, let’s see… Ah… For the first time this year, I said, “In the election, I’ll take #1”.

宣言してしまって大丈夫かなと不安に思ったり、残念ながらその夢にはあと一步届かなかったんですけども、でもこの2位をいただいて、私は今まで他のメンバーに頼ったり甘えたり、あとは…「傷つきたくないなぁ」とか「波風立てたくないなぁ」とか思っていたところもあったんですけども、これからは私はもういろんなことから逃げません！
I wasn’t sure if it was okay for me to say that. And regretfully, I was just one step away from reaching that dream. But with this #2 position, up until now, I’ve depended on and relied on so many members… I’ve thought a few times, “I don’t want to get hurt”, or, “I shouldn’t cause so much trouble”. But from now, I won’t be running away anymore.

総監督のたかみなさんも卒業して、私たちにとってたかみなさんの存在はすごく大きくて、不安なこともあるんですけども、次期総監督の横山由依ちゃんが背負いすぎないためにも、AKBグループメンバーが一人一人AKBを背負ってる気持ちで、本気で頑張ればもっとAKBグループは大きく上を目指せるんじゃないかなと思っています。
With Takamina graduating, and since Takamina’s presence is so essential to us, I’m a little bit worried. But, in order not to burden the next General Manager, Yokoyama Yui, too much, I think it’s important that each member carry the burden. If we do our best, I think we’ll be a bigger and better AKB group.

私は、NMB48を一年間兼任させていただきました。
For one year, I had a concurrent position in NMB48.

メンバーもファンの方もすごく優しくて、本当にたくさんのことを学ばせていただきました。
The other members and fans were very nice, and I really learned a lot.

秋からは、AKBグループの新たな土地であるNGT48を兼任します。
This fall, I’ll be part of a new AKB group, NGT48.

AKBグループをもっと大きくするためにも、今日いただいたこの2位という順位が背中を押してくれてる気がするので、絶対にNGT48も成功させると、使命感に燃えております。
In order to make the AKB group better, I feel that this 2nd place has pushed me in the right direction, and with that responsibility, I’m motivated to make NGT48 a definite success.

もちろん、AKB48も、AKBグループも、…このあと最後に呼ばれるメンバーを、近くで支えて、AKBグループをもっともっと大きくしていくとと宣言するので、これからも皆さんどうぞ応援よろしくお願いします！ありがとうございました！
