Amazon Japan has compiled a sales ranking for all of its items, during the first half of 2015.  Yamamoto Sayaka’s 2nd photo book, “SY” ranks #1, under the the Photo Book category.

The sales figures are from November 17, 2014 to May 17, 2015.  According to the sales rank awards page, “SY” also ranks #7 overall in the Books category.  When you drill down the subcategory of Photo Books, Yamamoto Sayaka’s “SY” appears at #1.  Conspicuously enough, it even beat out Kojima Haruna’s latest photo book, which ranks at #2 in the same category.

Of course one could argue that “SY” went on sale first, on February, 10, 2015.  Kojiharu’s latest phonebook, “Dou-suru?”, didn’t go on sale until late March.

Interestingly enough, if you follow Japanese idols at all, you’ll notice a lot of other familiar names on the top 20 list.  Those in the 48-groups include: Kizaki Yuria, Yokoyama Yui, and Yamada Nana.
