Via the 755 chat app, Akimoto Yasushi makes a very casual announcement about an upcoming documentary starring NGT48’s Kitahara Rie.First, the original message from 755:

Kitahara Rie Documentary, Announcement“Takenaka, the TBS producer who made the Tano Yuka Documentary, called me on the phone.  He said, ‘I want to make a Kitahara Rie Documentary’.  Of course, I said okay.  Since she’s been transferred to NGT48 as their captain, I feel as a ‘stuck gear’ has started moving again.  Good luck, Kitarie!  It’ll air on July 22nd, on a late night broadcast”.

Looks like it’ll be a TV-only broadcast, but along with Kitarie’s ascension into the top 16 again, things are looking up for her.
