According to Oricon, for the week of June 8th to June 14th, 2015, Watanabe Mayu’s new single, Deai no Tsuzuki comes in at 2nd, with 48,240 copies sold.
First day sales started with 19,571, which sounds like a lot, but actually pales in comparison with her earlier singles. Shinkuro Tokimeki, her first debut single, for example, sold over 50,000 on its first day on sale.
One can only wonder why the single didn’t do as well, though perhaps its use as the theme song of Mayuyu’s unpopular drama might have had something to do with it.
The single went on sale on June 10th, 2015 and came in four editions, as noted below.
