This doesn’t quite reach Kojima Haruna levels of trolling, but apparently what turned out to be a joke has everyone up in arms. Is our beloved Mentaiko herself, Murashige Anna, graduating from HKT48?!

This apparently happened at a live event, through what appears to be a misunderstanding. Murashige herself explains via Google Plus:

The first thing she says: “Everyone! I am not graduating!”. Afterwards, she explains a misunderstanding: “At my hometown’s Yamaguchi live concert, people cheering for me was louder than usual. That’s when Sasshi made fun of me and said, ‘That Murashige Cheer was so louder, I thought it was your graduation concert. haha'”.

After which, everyone even starts crying at her graduation “announcement” (courtesy of HKT48 Theater director’s G+ page):

As others have noted, this was just a joke. Apparently a very sensitive one too!
