Takamina is well known for her many “meigen”, or “famous expressions”. Recently, she answers a question about working life when a fan asks her for advice about a job.
This come from Takamina’s 755 account:
The question is a little long and complicated: “Takamina, I need some advice! While looking for a job, I found a company that will finally let me do the kind of work I want. However, it seems people write many bad things about the company on the internet. But I went to the job orientation, and I asked people who worked there, and they all said it was a great company. Takamina, if you’re in a position where you’ve found a company where you can do the work you want, do you prioritize the company’s reputation, or prioritize that it’s something you want to do? Please tell me!”
Takamina also gives a really interesting reply, and perhaps reveals something about her experience as General Manager of the 48-groups. She answers by saying, “People outside (the group) say what they want. But the people inside (the group) are the only people who really know what goes on. If you’re worried about what people say, you’ll never be able to do anything. Isn’t it best to trust something that you want to believe in?”
Is this another one of Takamina’s famous sayings?
