Highly suspicious! It was announced on AKB48’s official blog that Kojima Haruna is absent due to bad health condition, but the internet has other conclusions.

A recent 2ch thread begins with original poster saying that Kojiharu is absent from today’s (Sunday, July 12th) handshaking event because of a hangover.

No one is really upset that she’s gone however, everyone tries to speculate about the reason:

• “Feigned illness!”
• “It’s probably because her make up wasn’t done right”
• “Is there some kind of big race today?”
• “So I guess she’s absorbed with horse racing this morning?”
• “She was late to the Yokohama even too, haha”
• “Kojima is perfect”
• “Kojiharu says, ‘Sunday is horse racing day.'”
• “She’s almost 30 years old, you should let her skip out on handshaking events.”
• “Lol, hangover, huh? Kojiharu is like Paruru, they don’t really try to hard to get fans. Being absent because of hangover, that just makes her more interesting.”
