This isn’t the usual words of wisdom from Takahashi Minami, but she sheds some light about the less glamorous side of idol celebrity.
Fan: “Takamina, you really just go out in the street, don’t you? Don’t people try to talk to you?”
Takamina: “If someone tries to talk to me, I run. Escape.”
Takamina: “I’m really happy about it, but if someone you didn’t know called your named, screamed at you, tapped you on the shoulder, the only thing I feel is fear. So, running escape.”
Fan: “Ooooh, if it’s like that, I really want to call out to you. To find you. I’ll chase after you~~!”
Takamina: “Please stop that. I’ve been chased before, it’s really tough”
Fan: “People tap you on the shoulder form behind? That’s scary!”
Takamina: “Yes, it happens a lot. I’ve also had people grab me by the shoulder and turn me around. I thought was going to die, lol! When that happened, it was a guy, and he said to a girl behind him, “Look, I told you it was Takamina!”. Then the girl said, “Stop it!” and became angry. It was a really turn-off. I was leaving in a taxi, and while waiting a stop light, a bunch of unknown people were tapping on the window, while saying, “Look, it’s really her!”. And then they started taking a lot of pictures. There are a lot of people in this world who don’t have any common sense. When I meet those people, I tell myself to be careful. I’m 24, so I’m a little used to it, but worry about young people — they don’t know to avoid those types of things, right? Please take care to do that.”
