One long-time Sashihara Rino hater (or “anti”, if you prefer) laments that his efforts are in vain. What ensues is a funny and interesting exchange, when the hater sadly admits defeat by confessing how cute Sasshi has become.

I’ve been a hater for about 3 years, and I am honestly tired…

No matter how hard I badmouth her, she was still #1 in the election. She made headlines doing that concert in her swimsuit. She also has lots of work in commercials and televsion.

Just this weekend, almost like every single day, she appears on all these famous TV shows like Ariyoshi’s Summer. Gurunai, Gacchir Monday…

And then I heard that she is being called back on Wide na Show.

I am really tired… what should I do?

I’ve tried my best to knock Sashihara down because I believed it was for Mayuyu’s sake. But honestly, there’s a big difference between Mayuyu and Sasshi now, right?

What’s even more unbearable, is that I am always watching Sashihara’s TV shows and, lately, I’m finding that she’s becoming cuter and cuter…

Give it up! You need to realize that Sasshi is the heavenly idol of the AKB Group! She’s a “new type” that’s way ahead of her nearest rival. We ordinary people can never become like that. She’s like a goddess!

      Thanks man — that is honestly quite a compliment, considering I do not post much around these parts.

      It is a funny relationship, isn’t it? On the one hand, Sasshi’s haters/antis are really outwardly laying the hate, but it is also an acknowledgement of her greatness. I just thought this particular thread was pretty hilarious since the guy admits defeat by falling to Sasshi’s cutess hehe.

        The posting you do is ALWAYS appreciated by me. I love AKBZINE and everyone who is a part of this special place for us AKB lovers.
        As for this thread, you can actually FEEL the defeat in this anti’s admission. I couldn’t stop laughing. I’m sick right now with a nasty cough and I laughed to the point where I nearly fell off my chair… I mean…TOOO funny when somebody is THAT defeated over being an anti and being overcome by Sasshi’s greatness! This was a much needed smile fest for me tonight. So thank you beyond words. Please keep posting. I read every single post on here and check this site at least once a day, so your efforts are ALWAYS noticed!

      Serious or sarcastic – honestly, I was not quite sure myself, but that is one part of what makes it so interesting.

      I understand your feelings about haters / antis. It seems to be par for the course when it comes to idol fandom.
