応援してくださった皆さん、投票してくれた皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。去年は名前を呼ばれたとき、すごいビックリして頭が真っ白になってしまったんですけど、今年はすごく、すごく、すごく嬉しいです！今まで私は自分に全然自信がなくて総選挙の場所も不安とか緊張で胸が押しつぶされそうになっていました。でも去年の16位という順位が私を変えてくれたかなと思います。私は第1章か第2章の人間かと言われたら、第2章の人間だと思います。
To everyone who supported and voted for me, thank you very much. Last year, when my name was called, I was so surprised, and my mind went into a haze. This year, I’m so, so, soooooo happy! Up until now, I’d lost confidence in myself, and even in place in the senbatsu I was uneasy and nervous, as if my heart was going to get crushed. But last year, my rank at #16 really changed me. If someone were to ask me if I was part of chapter 1 or 2, I think I’m part of the 2nd chapter.

AKBに入ってからすごくたくさんキラキラしたメンバーやカッコイイ先輩たちを見てきました。AKBに入った時からそんな先輩たちに憧れていました。でも第1章が終わって、AKBはもうダメなんじゃないかと言われたりすることもあって、すごく悔しくて、でもこうして第2章を引っ張っていくであろうメンバーが選抜にたくさん入ったし、私も順位を上げることが出来たので、第2章を引っ張るメンバーが先輩からAKBを受け継いでさらに進化させていけたらいいなと思います。これからはこの10位という順位を胸に、AKB48のもっと力になれるように、フロントメンバーとして支えられるように頑張っていきたいと思うので。去年16位になって、そこから選抜に入れなくてみなさんには悔しい思いをさせたかと思うんですが、これからはもっと頑張っていきたいと思うのでみなさん応援よろしくお願いします。
Ever since I became part of AKB, I’ve seen a lot of sparkling members and cool senior members. When I became part of AKB, I admired them. But now that the first chapter is finished, I’ve even been told that AKB is hopeless. It was really frustrating. But there are many senbatsu members now who are pulling the second chapter forward. I’ve also increased my rank, and I feel that the members bringing in the 2nd chapter will continue on AKB from the senior members, and also continue to change it. From now on, with the rank of #10 in my heart, I hope to become helpful to AKB, and I hope to be a front running member that you can support. Last year, when I became#16, I was worried that I’d make you frustrated if I wasn’t part of the senbatsu again. I want to keep doing my best, so please continue your support.
